Winter is coming, and there's nothing we can do about it. But on the bright side, this means more hot chocolates, winter furs and coats, boots and more boots, scarfs, coffees and open fires. 

Don't get me wrong, I loveeee winter fashion and being warm by the fire, but surely there's no one in the world that doesn't enjoy summer and the mood it brings about. But it comes around the same time every year and unless you're an avid traveller who loves to avoid the winter chills, most of us are stuck at home by the fire, running to get out of the rain and grabbing hot coffees on a regular basis. And if you ask me, there IS plenty of things to look forward to this winter; think,

online shopping by the heater, in your warm ugg boots and tracks, under your favourite blanket, catching up on the latest Gossip Girl. I'm loving the up and coming winter trends, especially layering. Being able to layer clothes, topped with your favourite coat and scarf is not only warm but uber stylish for winter. (But don't be afraid to stick to bright colours in winter. Coloured jeans and pants are still a wardrobe staple and who knows, a little pop of colour might just be that little pick my up you're looking for on a dull winters day.)
